I again wish to thank all the Staff, Students, and Parents for their support of Tom Bryan's Karate. I am proud to say we have one of the nicest facilities in the Country. Special thanks to Mike Swain, Olympic Judo Champion for providing the best Martial Arts flooring available which is the same used today in the Olympics.
I would like to congratulate the following Kempo family members who successfully passed their advanced Black Belt exam before the board of instructors and were promoted last month. Sensei Christopher Brooks promoted to 3rd Degree Black Belt. Sword Master Vincent Guarino promoted to 3rd Degree Kempo Black Belt. Sensei Ramona Klier, Sensei Mark Sander and Sensei Jorge Vega promoted to 2nd Degree Black Belt. Julian Best promoted to 2nd Degree Black Belt.
Congratulations to Sensei Scott Santos for preparing all the competitors on team TBK who took home trophies this month at Master Dominick Giaccobe's Tournament in Atlantic City. Congratulations to Joseph Sanseverino for placing first in the weapons division, and Black Belt Michael Cappelleri for placing second in weapons. Congratulations to Sensei Rene' Ruiz who competed in Black Belt men's fighting. Congratulations to Paige and Brina Haugland for joining Team TBK.
Check out our Pro Fitness gym which features state of the art equipment and cardio machines along with group fitness and silver sneakers classes. I see a lot of the parents utilizing the gym while their children are in Karate classes which is very economical. We have special rates for all the parents and students of the Karate School. Special thanks to Sensei Dawn Maltz for taking over some of the management duties at the gym.
